Rescue First :: Directory of Rescue Organizations

You are seeing this page because you clicked "Suggest a Rescue" before choosing a specific Breed. After you choose a state, you must choose a breed. If your breed isn't in the list, just choose Other. Step by step directions are below, but if you need more detailed instructions please follow this link. It will open in a new window.

How to Suggest a Rescue

1. Please [Click Here] to return to the list of states and then use the menu to choose either National, Regional or the State served by the Rescue Organization you would like us to add.
   
   
2. After choosing either National, Regional or a particular state, select the Breed that your suggested Rescue represents.
   
   
3. Follow the "Suggest a Rescue" link (under the directory search), and fill in the form.
   
   
   
   Please Note: If the appropriate breed doesn't exist on the breeds page for the location you choose, then please select the "Other" category and fill in the form. We will add both the Breed and the Rescue Organization that you suggested to the Rescue First directory.
