When prosecutors in England, prepping for a case, needed a statement from “PD Peach,” one of the officers involved, they wouldn’t take no for an answer. Finally, after repeated requests, they received this from the police department:
That’s because the officer in question is “Police Dog Peach,” a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois.
When a photo of the “statement” went viral, prosecutors were not amused. PD Peach had no comment.
If they are not amused, I guess they just can’t take a joke.
